I have just purchased a samsung model HW-MS57C/ZA. It appears to be stuck in some kind of display mode that says display shop 6 on the screen. Is there a way to get out o this mode and possibly a firmware update?

Hey there, apologies for the delay. Can you try these steps for getting the unit out of shop mode?

 

Turning Shop Mode On

  1. While the set is powered off, press and hold the Vol- button until the display shows SHOP1.
  2. Press and hold the Vol+ button until the display shows SHOP1 ON.

Turning Shop Mode Off

There are two ways to turn Shop Mode off.

  • While the set is powered off, press and hold the Vol- button until the display shows SHOP OFF.
  • Re-initialize the unit (factory reset).
    • While the unit is powered on, press and hold both the Vol+ and Vol- buttons simultaneously for about 6-10 seconds.
