Soundbar 990b drops to lower volume and forces adaptive mode

Samsung tv q70 (65")

I am using the soundbar over arc with a Samsung tv and randomly the sound will go down to volume level 10 and adaptive sound mode. Sometimes it takes a few seconds sometimes it might be several minutes. Also the soundbar display will constantly scroll "TV ARC" 

Updated to latest firmware or TV and soundbar

Tried different hdmi cables

Tried intelligent mode on or off

Factory reset soundbar and connections 

Powered off for three minutes and tried again

Tried changing mode from remote or TV or even smart things app and nothing sticks it will drop volume and change mode.

No way to turn adaptive mode off? Or try changing the sound on the TV... could help to try different sounds on TV settings

Yes I change it and every few minutes it drops and reverts back to lower volume and adaptive mode
