According to Samsung.Com

The Samsung HW-Q930F supports Spotify Connect (including incoming 24-bit lossless support) and features native Tidal Connect, allowing it to play Tidal Dolby Atmos tracks.

Hello @ThomasSj, thank you for reaching out to the Community. To answer your question the soundbar Samsung HW-Q930F does support Spotify Lossless.
The soundbar supports Spotify's lossless format in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC. You must use Spotify Connect over Wi-Fi to achieve lossless quality, however Bluetooth does not support lossless transmission.

Well I did too think it would support it, but when I go into the settings for media quality, Spotify tells me that the device is not capable of supporting 24-bit/44.1 khz and I'm stuck at 320Kb when playing using spotify connect on WiFi. The soundbar is update to date sofware wise (at least it doesn't say there is an update). Any ideas?

Found the issue: the subtle difference between Google cast and Spotify connect.

  • Removed my speakers from google home app.
  • Removed Spotify from my Google account.

So now Spotify does not see any other devices then my phone and the soundbar. Now i am able to select lossless. If there are any other speakers in your network, Spotify seems to default to Google cast to connect to the speaker (and you have no option to alter that). Looks like something that either Google or Spotify should fix (and offer an option on how you would like to connect: Google cast or Spotify Connect).
