The Subwoofer is to be placed in the front left corner of the room.
(A secondary location is on the left side wall 5 feet out from the back corner. It would be beside a recliner and below the listeners left ear.)
Are there any other choices than:
1. Square and 4" off each wall, port to the rear, speaker facing right towards the soundbar or,
2, Diagonal to the corner, speaker 45* into the room?
I placed my sub woofer in the rear left corner of my setup. But I still don't notice much difference yet with the placement, since I haven't had much content that required the sub to boom as much.
The best solution seems to be to placing the sub in the left rear corner a few inches off each wall, the port faces the soundbar and the speaker faces the listener.
