Volume on HW-E450 Sound bar keeps dropping

I have a Samsung HW-E450 sound bar; the volume keeps dropping, as if somebody is turning it down with the remote.

Powering off and unplugging the bar helps for a while, but it keeps happening.

I've seen other posts that have the same problem, but none of the solutions have worked (probably because it's a different model).

Any help would be great, thanks guys!

Re: Volume on HW-E450 Sound bar keeps dropping

Does this occur if you remove the batteries from the remote? Does it occur on all sources and inputs?

I'm not sure if it happens with all inputs, but I know it keeps happening on HDMI and D-In. It also still seems to happen when the batteries are out of the remote.

Hey, try the following:

1) Make sure the TV has the latest software version

2) Try a different HDMI cable

This is also still happening when the input is set to other options (like Bluetooth, etc.) and when the soundbar is not plugged in to the TV.

Have you tried to just reset it?

Like UdW96Efe7V, I've also tried resetting it throught the instructions listed in the manual, with no results.

Mine is doing it to and the manual says to hold the down button for 5 seconds to shut off sound restriction. It is not working
