Kitchen and Family HubI am trying to find the correct wattage / amperage at 240 volts on the Bespoke NSI6DB950012AA slide in range so I can install the proper size wire and circuit breaker.
On the Samsung website for this oven under the Specs tab, it states 240 volts / 40 amps.
On the nameplate on the oven itself, which the customer sent me a photo of, it reads 240 volts 12,100 watts which translates to 50 amps.
In the installation manual, for 240 volts, it is showing 16,500 watts which translates to 69 amps.
Why are there differences and which one is correct? I can't be the first person to discover this so why don't the 3 locations have the same information??

Kitchen and Family Hub@gsurace The installation guide says to use a 40 Amp cord. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0061303&modelCode=NSI6DB950012AA

Kitchen and Family HubThe installation manual also says the oven runs at 16,500 watts which is 69 amps. How do I know which one is correct?

Kitchen and Family HubI am the qualified electrician doing an installation for a customer. Local ordinances have nothing to do with electrical ratings for a product. I am well aware of a typical range circuit BUT the manufacturer, Samsung, is required to post the power consumption of an electrical appliance (not the amperage rating of the power cord) on the nameplate of the appliance and the installation manual. Once again, manual says 69 amps, nameplate says 50 amps, specs on website say 40 amps. Why the differences and which one is correct and how do we know which one is correct??
