Black stainless steel is peeling

I have not had my my stove for 2 year and it looks horrible. I called and was told it's cosmetic. This is unacceptable. Are we not supposed to cook in them? Also the letters from the microwave are falling off. And the little rubbers under the grills all fell off.

I agree.  I am having the same issue.  I have had my stove for 3 years and the black stainless steel is peeling aound the bar and the top by the knobs.   This is unacceptable.  Has anyone had any luck with getting it repaired.
