I have Samsung (RF263BEAEBC) and ice bucket is stuck.
Please suggest how to get it free; tried pulling pushing for more than 2 hours. Bucket will not budge.
Same issue here, model RF22K9381SR, four French door model. It stopped making ice a few months back, was frozen over. Fixed that, was okay making watery ice for a while. Now it stopped making ice again but this time the bucket is frozen in place and cannot be removed. Please help! How do I get a Samsung service tech to my residence for repairs? This is unacceptable for a top-of-the-line model refrigerator.
Most ice buckets can be removed by pulling them straight out. Some models may need to be slightly lifted up before removing it. If you aren't sure how to remove it, look in your user manual to make sure you are removing it correctly.
Another way to remove your ice bucket is to defrost the unit either by unplugging it or turning off from the breaker until you are able to remove it. Once you have it removed feel free to reset the ice maker by pushing the reset button on the right side of the ice maker.

I'm having an issue removing my ice maker. This seems to be a major flaw in the design. I've tried for the better part of 3 weeks to push up and pull out as instructed on the owners manual to no avail.
I've read your instructions provided and they do not help. This is a brand new refrigerator model number RF28R7351SG/AA.
What a joke, you bought a new refrigerator and that's the solution they recommend. It's a KNOWN DEFECTIVE DESIGN.
ALL SAMSUNG UNITS WITH THIS KNOWN DEFECTIVE DESIGN SHOULD BE RECALLED.
AND ALL NEW UNITS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE SOLD.
Hi - I'm also having the same issue. Have tried to pull out the ice bucket many times to no avail. Could I please send a private message to resolve? I've tried pumping in hot water to melt whatever is blocking it too. No luck.
I have just changed the water filter. It was 6 months since I changed it. Now I can't remove the ice bucket and the ice machine is not making ice. Model #RF25HMEDBSR/AA. I do thankfully have an extended warranty seeing I have had this refrigerator serviced multiple times.
