When you held down the 2 buttons, which codes came up? That will help you to know at least what general area it's in (if the codes are correct, I guess.)
I was just told that it will be almost $700 (plus almost $90 service call already paid) to repair the fridge. But reading all of the other posts, it sounds like even if all FIVE parts are replaced, its a risk to break in other areas. Normally that would be the choice. But not this time. Less than 2 years old, and not understanding why it isn't on recall list.

for all: not sure if this will assist, but I found this thread while googling "samsung fridge noise" and read through all the comments. After reading them, i continued with other google matches. This youtube video solved my problem. Perhaps it will solve some of the ones posted here.
