Dishwasher Stops - Door Open

Our dishwasher (DW80M9960UG/AA) stops randomly throughout the cycle.  If I look in the Smartthings app, it says the door is open.  If I gently press on the door, I can hear a ding as if the door is closed again.  I then open the door, press start, and close the door again and the cycle finishes.  It seems like there is enough pressure building up that it pushes the door enough to make it think that the door is open.  Is there a latch adjustment that I can make to keep the door closed during a cycle?

I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

I understand how this may be frustrating and want to help, when putting dishes in the dishwasher is any of them close to the door or any of the racks not able to be pushed in all the way?

No dishes are close to the door.  Sometimes it is running for an hour when it happens.  It isn't that it won't start because the door is open.  It has been running for a good portion of the cycle when it thinks the door is open.  Looking in the Smartthings app will confirm that it thinks the door is open.  A gentle push on the door is met with a chime.
