I went through both virtual help desk and speaking to someone at Samsung but dishwasher still not working. Samsung informed me that the warranty is no longer valid but the dishwasher was purchased October 2023. After reaching out to a local repairman, it is the control board. He looked at the cost which is close to $690 which is a cost of a new dishwasher. He also said the control board for this unit is not available. Is the control board under warranty still? When will it be available?

Welcome to the community and thank you for reaching out! I can understand how frustrating it is when my dishwasher doesn't work and am happy to provide assistance 🙂 Unfortunately, we here don't have access to the parts department inventory, so we can't provide information on when parts will be in stock. Based on your warranty, it looks like the circuit board is covered (part only) for 5 years after purchase; however it would require a Samsung Tech to verify that is what needs to be changed before Samsung can pay for that. If you'd like to set up a service ticket just to be sure, please don't hesitate to reach out to any of the mods here with your dishwasher's full model code and serial number.

I called to schedule a Samsung technician to come out and on May 6th started a service order number 4180753795. After not hearing anything for a few days I called Samsung. They said they were working on assigning a technician to call me. Today, May 9th, they called me and said there are no technicians in the area and I needed to reach out to pay for my own technician to evaluate it. I explained that I already did that and the repairman said it was the control board which is under warranty. The technician I spoke to from Samsung told me this part was not under warranty. This was the number he called from. +1 (800) 849-2198. What is my next option to get help?

Unfortunately, the only option would be to go through a local repair center, as your dishwasher is out of warranty, and there are no Samsung repair centers around you. As we are only able to do troubleshooting here, we would not be able to verify with 100% certainty which part is damaged. We can only state what's covered by the warranty statement.
