Kitchen and Family HubMy dishwasher model DW80J3020US keeps shutting itself off.
I’ll start up the machine, select ‘normal’ cycle, it will run for a few minutes then beep, switch the cycle to ‘auto’ and then stop running. Light will stay on on ‘auto’ button, but flash.
No water seems to be getting into the machine.
There is no display so I can’t run an error code. Have tried turning off at the breaker.
thanks in advance!

Kitchen and Family HubI’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your dishwasher. Since you mentioned that water isn’t getting in and you’ve already tried resetting the breaker, which ruled out 1-2 and 4 of the possible causes, I recommend reaching out to Customer Service. - If the dishwasher detects moisture due to a leak, it might try to drain continuously, preventing it from turning off.
- Troubleshooting: Inspect for leaks, especially around the door seal, hoses, and connections. If you find a leak, consult a guide for dishwasher leaks or contact a professional.
- Reset: Unplug the dishwasher or turn off the circuit breaker, wait a few minutes, and then power it back on. This might clear any error codes related to the leak.
- A clogged drain or a problem with the drain pump can also cause the dishwasher to shut off.
- Troubleshooting: Check for clogs in the drain hose, air gap (if applicable), and the sump area. You may need to clean the drain and sump.
- Reset: A reset might help after clearing a drain blockage.
- In some cases, the problem might be with the control panel or wiring harness.
- Troubleshooting: If the issue persists after addressing leaks and drainage problems, consider the possibility of a faulty control panel or wiring harness.
- Expert Advice: A professional diagnosis might be needed to pinpoint the exact component causing the problem.
- Overheating: Check for proper ventilation around the dishwasher.
- Error Codes: Refer to the Samsung support website or your user manual for error code information.
- Extension to Drain Hose: If you added an extension to the drain hose, ensure it's properly installed and doesn't create a blockage.
- Unplug the dishwasher from the power outlet or switch off the circuit breaker for 1-5 minutes.
- Plug the dishwasher back in or turn the power back on.
