In January 2018, I purchased a 3 Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowe's. One was a dishwasher Model No. DW80K505OUS. I have recently noticed that both upper and lower racks are showing rusted tines. I have owned dishwashers in the past (not Samsung) and all have lasted for a minimum of 6 years but none of them had rusted racks. Samsung should consider putting more quality in parts such as these.

Our DW80M955OUS/AA dishwasher was delivered in October 2018. While it was still under warranty I noticed the lower rack had serious rust issues. Samsung sent a new rack and now that one is now rusting. I need another new rack and that's going to be 3 racks in less than 3 years.
Since the dishwasher is out of warranty now, I'm going to have to pay $200 for a new one, not to mention the rusty tine rows.
If I have to pay $200 a year I might as well buy a new dishwasher and not throw good money after bad.
Samsung dishwasher not even 2 years old, already rusting. Our last dishwasher was a whirlpool and lasted 16 years. Please fix this issue. Our model number is DW80R2031US. We purchased it in August 2019. Pictures are attached.

Samsung contacted me, I sent them all the information....again. Then yesterday they created a ticket to have a certified samsung repair specialist come look at the rusted racks. They called me today, I assumed to schedule a time to look at the dishwasher, but instead they said that they just called to inform me that Samsung would not be replacing the rusted parts and that is a lot of rust for a dishwasher that is only 1 year and 7 months old. I am very frustrated. I even took better pictures and outlined the areas of rust, there is a total of 9 areas that are already rusting- ON A DISHWASHER THAT IS NOT EVEN 2 YEARS OLD!!!! Apparently Samsung doesn't want repeat customers. They can either fix the issue or they can deal with the consequences.
I bought a Stormwash stainless steel dishwasher about 2-1/2 years ago. This is the only Samsung appliance I own. I bought it for the features and spent twice what other dishwashers cost, expecting a quality product. I only have minor rusting on the interior, my complaint is rust forming on the exterior stainless steel door. I have a 10-year-old Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator, freezer, and range - all without a bit of rust. When I contacted Samsung customer service, I was also told that it is my problem. Last Samsung appliance I will ever buy!
