New Samsung refrigerator was installed last Friday 25 NOV 2022 and I noticed that the dispenser light does not illuminate when Water or Ice is used. Holding Cubed button for 3 seconds also does not turn on the light after dispensing either. Need warranty service. May have received a brand new fridge with a missing broken dispenser bulb, or faulty part. Thanks! I have serial number, and information ready to send in a private message for support. @samsung
Hi there, Thank you so much for reaching out about this. I can certainly understand your concern with this. According to page 52 of the user manual (linked below) this model refrigerator does not actually have a dispenser light feature. It does however have a dispenser lock feature that can be accessed by pressing and holding the "Water" button for 3 seconds.
