Re: UPPER HALF OF FRIDGE NOT COOLING, LOWER HALF TOO COLD - FREEZES FOOD!
Bought a new Samsung (Model RS265TDRS Serial # JJ8K4BBC801634V) in 2012. The top half is not cooling and the bottom half is freezing food. What do I do?
Wrong, all wrong. I have a RF26H I purchased in late 2015 doing the same thing. Samsung got its kicked in a class-action lawsuit for this very issue, but it's too late for us to participate. See Below. Apparently Samsung is continuing to see fridges with the same design as I made my purchase in late 2015 at Home Depot. I'm going down there today to enlist their help with my fridge. I bought an extended warranty, but exercising it is like having teeth pulled. It's not designed to be user friendly, - it's a circuitous and byzantine process designed to wear the consumer down.
Samsung Lawsuit Specifics
In case you think your Samsung refrigerator should be included in this case, here's some more information.
My fridge stopped cooling properly last week. We haven’t paid close attention until
now and the temperature or at 54 degrees. Numerous power downs and still nothing.

Hi, we bought this Samsung fridge in early 2016. Model# RF25HMEDBSR/AA 13 serial# <HIDDEN> We had issues with the ice machine. Had a technician out about 3 times. It has been working fine until about a month ago. The main fridge says it’s set at 35 f. But actual temp when you open the fridge say 48-50. The ice machine and secondary middle fridge seems to be working. Can you give me any advice on warranty and possible service to correct this second issue.
Do I really have to read 11 pages of the SAME ISSUE without resolution.
I have exactly the problem as all these.
2 year old units don't have seal peoblems.
Fridges used by 3 people are NOT opened excessively.
Those are all lazy sugestions to a LEMON OF A PROCUCT.
I want ALL my money back!!!!! period. If I dont get it I'm
going to make this personal. A special project online and at Samsung dealers.
It is not unreasonable to expect this thing to work without problems for more than 2 years.
