Kitchen and Family HubOur fridge started making a loud fan buzz. It sounds like it's coming from the upper rear center on the inside of the fridge. It only does it when the doors are closed and you can hear it winding down when you open the door. When you close the doors, it winds up to full speed again. We've had this fridge since March 2015. Any ideas?

Kitchen and Family Hubits probably he same scenario that happens here. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Kitchen/Ice-maker-not-making-enough-ice/m-p/62154#M1248
The ice is soggy and the ice build up causes the noise from the fan. Fix it by defrosting the ice buildup in the ice maker.....horrible design flaw which samsung will not recognize and therefore is resulting in a bunch of consumers that spent $2k+ on a fridge pay for repairs that do not work. you will have to do this monthly.
As far as i know there is no fix as it is a design flaw. Please advise if someone actually had it corrected.
my model number is RF30HBEDBSR/AA

Kitchen and Family HubMine is doing the same thing. Really angry after spending 3000.00 for this thing. If you start a class action suit, count me in.

Kitchen and Family HubI agree on the class action suit. We have a 2 yr. old Samsung Refrig. Model RF28HMEDBSR/AA. Approx. once a month, the fan will buzz (like so many have mentioned here) and my husband and I go about emptying the Refrig. and my husband gets his tools out, opens up the back of the unit and begins thawing the major build up of ice.
As consumers, we have each spent alot of money on these Refrigerators. They look beautiful, but their function is unexceptable. Shame on Samsung for not acknowledging this HUGE problem.
