Very common problem that Samsung will not recognize. Samsung Service centers apparantly can't fix (See link)
Horrible flaw in the product. The Moderators will have you open a ticket, the service guys won't be able to fix it. i have a hard time going through the process and $600+ in service tix to tell them i need to get a new fridge. Like many on the other post, i'm hoping for some sort of recall.......in the meantime telling everyone not to purchase samsung fridges.
Same here. I have to take everything out of my fairly new nice looking Samsung refrigerator and place it in my 30 year old GE refrigerator, unplug and wait for it to defrost. This ‘fix’ seems to last a couple of months. Have set the fridge portion to 40 degrees to see if that helped. No go. I also feel this is a design flaw and Samsung should recall this unit. I will never buy another Samsung appliance and will steer everyone I know/meet to stay away.
we have same model same problem ! how can samsung not regognize there is a problem and issue a solution! refund, trade-in, discount new model, something to remedy an obvious problem with a lot of units! samsung please advise!
If there's some kind of civil suit over a design flaw, I would hope it would be posted here... but then it might get deleted anyway.
Has anyone else had the water dispenser quit working?
