I'm trying to figure or if there is a trend with certain model fridges where the water fill tube either leaks water, which is causing the freezing, or if there is some sort of defrost mode that is supposed to prevent the fill tube from freezing. When it does freeze, the tray is impeded by the frozen water and the tray doesn't turn as much as it should, thus creating issues dispensing the ice bites. The regular ice cubes are perfectly fine.  The model I have is RF29A9071SR. Not sure if it's part of the Bespoke series fridges.

Just to update, I ended up buying a fill tube for the 4door flex fridge. The fill tube has a heater wrapped around it, which allows it to thaw any ice stuck in the tube. It has been running great now for a couple months.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Just want to confirm, are you having issues with your ice maker freezing up? Or is the ice tray stuck?

I have the same Bespoke fridge and same ice maker issues, to the extent it was not just not making ice but getting stuck, making a sound so loud you would think the kitchen wall was being torn down. I filed a repair claim, which the end result was being told cannot fix the problem, and was refunded the full purchase amount of my refrigerator. Severely disappointing as this happened literally two month after I just spent more than $1,000 on another Samsung refrigerator for the garage. Should you just pay me back now?

From what I can see, it's the water tube that fills the tray that appears to be the problem. I can't tell if the water tube freezes because it's gradually leaking water and then freezes at the tip, or if these fill tubes have some sort of heating element to prevent water from freezing.  Is there some sort of diagram that goes into detail for the ice maker assembly and related part #'s?

I am having the same problem. I had the fill tube replaced by a Samsung tech, but it happened again 7 months later. I think it is a design flaw in these 4 door models with the twin ice maker.

Did the tech leave any documentation on the part number to that water tube?

Yeah I'm having the same problem too. Samsung is phenomenal at screwing up ice machines

I'm in the exact same situation, it's always when the filter needs to be replaced so I replaced it thinking it will fix the problem but now it's the second time and I doubt they will do it under warranty this time considering they made it a pain  the last time.

I have exaclty the same problem, as you are describing. The water tube that fills the icetray is leaking and eventually it block the tube completely.

Every month I have to clean the blockage and then it works properly once again, any part that we can change to fix the issue?

Only happens on the ice cubes side and not the ice bites.
