Kitchen and Family HubIn most cases the freezer will display the current temperature and won't reflect the changed temperature until it has actually been reached. With that being said, have you attempted to reset the fridge by flipping the breaker for 60 seconds? If you haven't, give that a try and watch the temperature over the next day or two. If it doesn't improve, send me a private message with your model and serial number so that we can have a technician out to look at it. http://bit.ly/2ihPL97 It's summertime. No one is trying to chisel ice cream.

Kitchen and Family HubMy french door refrigerator was 5.5 years old when the freezer began to fail. We noticed first that the ice cream was soft, then soupy. After cycling the power, we found that the temperature was above freezing and within days was getting worse. We decided not to go for an expensive repair of adding refrigerant to replace what had been lost. We have since replaced the fridge. This last problem was at the end of a string of other problems. The replacement is a different brand. Disappointed!
