Ice Maker does not work

My refrigerator ice maker did not work correctly less than a year after we purchased it.  The reset button no longer resets and now the drawer is completely frozen shut.  Do you know a ball park figure for replacing the ice maker?  If it is too much I am going to give the refrigerator away and buy GE.

Try unplugging it, and seeing if it resets correctly that way.
