So frustrating every 3 weeks I have to chisel ice out to get ice maker to work again. This last time worked on it for over 1/2 and can't get ice off gave up. I have been reading and know this is a design flaw so shouldn't Samsung cover it? Any suggestions
I can see how this may be frustrating.
When was the last time you changed your water filter?
Have you tried to reset the ice maker?
Is the unit leveled? (see link below)
Can you provide the model number for the refrigerator?
The reset, or test button, is on the right side of the ice maker mechanism.
