Ice maker not working

Recently bought a house with a family hub. I was excited for the fancy refrigerator. Come to find out the water line was never installed, so we had that done. The water works just fine, the ice has not worked at all. We have defrosted it, reset it, unplugged it and everything that we could find recommended. This refrigerator was purchased in 2018 and the ice maker was never used. It seems a shame it is practically brand new and still does not work. Is there a way to ensure that the ice maker is the problem? I am thinking of replacing that, but scared that won't fix the problem. Are there any other suggestions?
