MICROPHONE NOT WORKING AFTER FAMILY HUB UPDATE...

My family hub updated software on 6-27-24, after completing the up date the system reset. Now it appears the microphone no longer works, Bixby and alexa do not recognize the microphone. I have called support many times with no help! And have restarted the fridge. What is the problem? How does this get fixed??

Same here!!! Incredibly frustrating after paying $3500 for a fridge just a few months ago.

Same here; tried resetting hub and also Bixby but seems mic is off regardless of setting.  I wonder if related to removal of voice memos and they forgot about other apps that use mic.

No surprise on lack of support from Samsung customer service, itā€™s a joke.

Hello everyone! So after doing everything I could think of I resorted to doing a "Factory Reset" and that seems to have solved the issue. My microphone and Alexa are now responding.

Do you know if "Factory Reset" uninstall all previous updates?

I'm not 100% sure exactly what it uninstall but it seems to have fixed the issue and the new update seem to have remained.

When you do a factory reset, are the installed apps removed? Or you re-sign in after the reset? thank you.
