- Tried to power cycle the microwave by unplugging it for 3-5 minutes to reset the system (I tried this twice)
- Cleaned out the lock mechanism, I inspected the lock to make sure it wasn't dirty or that it didn't have debris in the way
- Held down the control lock button for about 5 seconds to disable the lock
