Microwave Model SMH1713 runs with door open

I am a Samsung product lover from cell phones to refrigerators BUT this microwave has been a junker from the time we bought the house. I have replaced the door handle 3 times over the last 11 years and now the fan is running when I open the door and is emmiting something since it affects my TV accross the room.
