We purchased a Samsung French Door Fridge a couple of years ago. Model number RF31FMEDBSR/AA. Less than 2 years later we started having problems with the ice maker. this was a $3200 appliance. We were told that it was out of warranty. So we called a repair man and he said that it was a known issue. He replaced the ice maker. A month later we were having the same issue. He came back and replaced it again, telling us that there is a high failure rate with this unit. I have gone out and researched and found the service bulletin myself. I replaced the unit with a new model designed to fix the problem. I bought the $32 tube to seal the outside. Waited a day and we have “soft ice” and water in the discharge tube (website won’t allow the use of the actual part). What do we do???
