I have this model and have had several times where I thought I may have accidentally turned off the icemaker because no ice was being produced. On a chat with a rep I was told that only 5-6 cups of ice are made in one batch of ice. That is absolutely insane! So for a family of five, once everyone has a glass of water with lunch they're out of luck for the rest of the day? Anyone else dealing with this and is there a fix?

I am sorry to hear about this. Your ice maker should be dropping a tray of ice every 90 - 120 minutes. If it is not, the unit will require service. Please send the serial number to this PM Link.
