RF265B Refrigerator. When trying to remove Retail password with a Reset Factory utility the setup program asked for Model and Country.
The model RF265B was not in the list of models presented.
I picked one of them and started doing tests and most passed but at the end is showing a Warning stating. Wrong model for this device and it is beeping constantly.
I had to turn the LCD screen off with the reset button.
tried to call Samsung phoe service but do not work on weekends
I hope someone fix it diring the week before a RETURN this fridge back to Home Depot.

Kitchen and Family HubHello! I would recommend speaking with the retailer to ensure that this is not a demo model. Demo models have limitations that would prevent consumer use.

Kitchen and Family HubMy apologies for the confusion. Many retailers use consumer models as display models, there are also demo models that are meant only for display.

Kitchen and Family HubThank you for your quick response.
But now I am confused, so since the factory reset does not show the model in the list, then it cannot put it back to work right?
should I call Samsung tech support to see if they can revive this fridge ? Or just return it to the retail restore?
Please advise

Kitchen and Family HubThat is correct. The moderators here are Samsung tech support, we would recommend contacting the retailer. You are quite welcome.
