I feel that the range/oven needs an AI update. A few times now I have left either the stovetop or oven ON all night. It would be ideal to:
1- Have the SmartThings alert pop up every so often reminding you of it being ON. Not just 1x initially.
2- Maybe add a sensor either magnetic or front-facing visual AI sensor to see if anything is left on the range/oven for a prolonged period. In the case of cooking in the oven for hours, the range timer can super pass this feature but will automatically shut it off after.
This front facing sensor can use AI to detect even smoke or fire. I recently set a skillet on fire when I left hot oil burning. The house fire alarm did not go off. But it melted the bottom of the microwave and blackened the ceiling.
