I bought this refrigerator last November. Recently I tried to change the temperature of Flex Zone, but it won't work(it's my first time use this button). How can I fix this?

You can find steps for this in the user manual on page 27 here: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201808/20180830165512328/DA68-02952B-07.pdf

If the above troubleshooting steps didn't help, here are some service options:

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange process.

- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.

- If you're within the one year warranty, you can private message one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have service set up. http://bit.ly/2XERsky

- If the unit is out of warranty, you can use the following link below to request service or contact our phone support line at 1-800-Samsung to have service set up for you:

I seem to have developed the same problem.

Yesterday, my refrigerator was "beeping" all day  (no error messages that I could fine).

I shut off power to the refrigerator, then turned it back on.  I can't change the temperature in the "Flex Drawer".  It changed from where it was previously set (Cold Drinks) to (Meat/Fish) and seem to be holding the temperature and the beeping has stopped (The Meat/Fish light is illuminated).

That said, I can't change the temp and move the setting back to "Cold Drinks".  The temperature window remains dark and nothing happens if I touch the button.

If you press the Flex Zone temperature button several times, is there any response at all?

There in no change or sound when pressing the TEMP button. Will not change from "Cold Drinks". The drawer is still cold. No error codes. All other functions of the fridge seem to work.

This is something that would require service.  Could you send me a private message so that I can get some additional information from you? http://bit.ly/2ihPL97

Similar model rf28hmedbsr/aa, very similar problem with the flex zone temperature control.

When middle drawer is open, the flex zone panel will not respond to temperature change at all.

When middle drawer is closed, but upper part of the fridge is open, panel responds to presses, but behaves strangely - e.g. one of the settings does not lit up at all, when pressing again - next two settings light up, same 2 settings continue to light up when press again. On the 4th press the right next setting lights up as in normal operation. Only that setting (Meat/-1C) displays correctly.

It is unclear whether actual temperature in the drawer indeed changes.

First of all, you won't get any help from Samsung, so don't waste your time with them.

For anyone who is having this problem with their 4-door Samsung Refridgerator Flex Drawer going out, this is 99% of the time, the true problem.  And it boils down to a very poor engieering design.  The wire harness that connects to your flex drawer control runs along side/inside the right drawer rail system.  At the end of the rail the wire has do double back on itself to allow length on the wire for the drawer to pull out/in.  The point where this wire doubles over on itself is causing a tight pinch/bend in the wire and with repeated bending & unbending, this wire eventually fails 100% of the time.  I have had it happen twice to me already within 1.5 years.  Below I give a link to a YouTube video that shows exactly what I am referring to so you can see for yourself.

Just like the problem with the ice maker, Samsung will not acknowlege that there is a problem with their products.  This is a clear engineering design issue and they won't do anything about it. But they are sure happy to charge you more money to send a tech out.  Shameful.  I hope that this post helps others who are frustrated with Samsung and are looking for a true solution.  I hope that everyone takes this info and shares it so that it forces Samsung to take action.  Highly doubt it, but it has to start somewhere.

And for anyone looking for the replacement wire harness for their flex drawer, here is the part number:

For reference, the model I personally have purchased and have had nothing but troubles with is RF28HMEDBSG/AA  (same base fridge, just different feature, i.e. stainless steel, etc)
