Kitchen and Family HubThis happens occasionally, I usually pull out the ice bucket and re-insurt and it starts producing.
This time it won't start, it's been two days.
I can't find the reset button.
model RF263BEAESR

Kitchen and Family HubWe have a RF23HCEDDBBC/AA that won't make ice. I removed and defrosted the icemaker and the fridge compartment and it made one tray of ice and then quit. It is not refilling the tray and the water supply to the fridge is not the issue. Filter is fine.

Kitchen and Family HubThis link might be helpful in trying to fix your icemaker
https://www.scribd.com/document/332005575/Samsung-FDBM-Refrigerator-Ice-Maker-Bulletin-1-0-0
There are numerous issues outlined in the bulletin which can cause icemaker issues. I was using a hairdryer to defrost mine but I found a steamer is much better and quicker. Got it from Amazon...here's the link
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005SI8YZC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
After defrosting especially above the fan at the top of the auger assy the ice maker would work about a month before acting up again. I recently went through the bulletin mentioned above and found most of the items were issues with my icemaker.
Don't expect much help from the manufacturer, but there is a class action lawsuit in progress for icemaker problems. If you search on Samsung Icemaker Lawsuit you can probably find the info.

Kitchen and Family HubThere really should be a recall, it is clear that this is a major design flaw that is affecting most if not all of these fridges.
Its a shame really as I own and have owned many Samsung products typically without issues

Kitchen and Family HubNot sure why I was asked to send a private message, literally the response was we will not help you, you can pay for a tech to come look at the problem (which we already know has been unsuccessful fixing this issue).
It is quite unfortunate that a known factory defective part is being ignored by Samsung, this seems to be a rather wide spread issue and I cannot imagine how many people are going through this same problem yet have not voiced thier problems, have paid for techs, etc.
