Hello - I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator (Model RF28HMEDBSR/AA, <edit>) on November 1, 2017. It has worked flawlessly until about 8 months ago. At that time the ice maker frosted over and quit making ice. I went through the forced defrost procedure, cleaned out the frost build-up and it worked fine again. I now have to perform this procedure more and more frequently. Now I have to do it every month. Obviously, this is not acceptable.
When I perform an internet search, I fnd this is a very common problem. And, therefore must be a design flaw or manufacturing defect. Do you have a solution?
