About 2 weeks ago my icemaker stopped working. Then the whole bottom freezer stopped cooling, had to throw out all my frozen food. Then this past weekend the whole refrigerator stopped cooling, had to throw out the rest of our food. Had a technician come out this past Tuesday and say it was the inverter board. We ordered the part and replaced it. Held down the fridge and freezer buttons to reset it. Seemed like it was going to start working, felt a little cooler. This morning the doors were cool to the touch, but inside the refrigerator was 71 degrees. What do we do at this point?
Refrigerator model RF261BEAESR
Serial number: <HIDDEN>
Holding the Fridge and Freezer buttons will put the unit into test mode, not reset it. Please unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes, then reconnect and see if it starts to cool correctly.
Error E81 indicates the compressor is not starting. You will need a technician to determine the exact fault that is causing this. We can set up a service ticket for you, if you like.
