Kitchen and Family HubAlso having issues with removing the demo mode. Iām trying to follow the manualās instructions for turning ON demo mode (it doesnāt say how to turn off), but I canāt even get the screen to load before the demo video starts again. The live chat support just kept copy pasting the manual and telling me to reset the circuit breaker. Beyond frustrated.

Kitchen and Family HubHello! Thank you for reaching out! You cannot completely remove demo mode, meaning that you can turn it off but not delete it from the range. To turn it off, you should be able to do the following below. If this does not work, please provide your model number to look into this further.
- Press and hold the Clock/Setting button for 3 seconds.
- Press Up or Down to select 0, and then press START/SET.
- Press Up or Down to select ON or OFF.
- Press START/SET to save the changes.

Kitchen and Family HubJust to clarify, this solution does not work on the bespoke model because there is an AI hub instead of buttons

Since it is this model, you can try this below.
1. Tap Settings on the main touchscreen.
2. Go to: Common > Date and time
3. Set the time to exactly 12:34 (this is the hidden trigger).
4. Then simultaneously press and hold both Power and Smart Control buttons (on the touchscreen) for 5 seconds.
Please let me know if this helps!

Kitchen and Family HubThey updated the pdf manual a few days ago (May 2025) to tell you how to get out of the store demo video loop.
If a video is playing in Demo mode, to pause the video, quickly tap the top-left corner of the screen five times in a row.
Hereās a tip, I just went thru this problem. After setting 12:34 and holding both buttons for 5 seconds, turn the machine off/on via power button. The D indicator (demo) with square on top right corner should turn off after multiple attempts.

Kitchen and Family HubThank you! Thank you, @Hammy-Sam! Thank you to @SashaTse, as well, for posting the updates. I had actually bought 2 ranges with this same problem. I searched and searched after the first purchase and couldn't find a solution, so I returned it. Samsung support had feebly parroted user manuals from the correct, as well as incorrect, models of ranges, and then told me I should just give up. Bought a different one, suspecting the same issue, but feeling like there HAD to be some kind of cheat code. Was about to give up on the second appliance when I stumbled on this. Did have to run through the protocol a few times, but it finally worked like a charm. It's really crazy to me how schizophrenic and non-responsive the touch screen was before the fix: I was very much worrying that I would hate the unit even if I was able to get it out of demo mode (I am after all, a firm proponent of physical buttons and knobs). Once the range exited the demo loop of doom, though, it seems to actually be very responsive and smooth... Went from a nightmare to a dream. So weird.

Kitchen and Family HubOh my god I just had Samsung techs out here yesterday who discovered that someone (probably the retailer) switched the electrical cord to one thatās not 240V. They were saying that I needed to exchange my unit, but I wish I couldāve tried your tip to pause the demo mode. I never even knew this was possible. I have wasted HOURS on the phone with techs who have wasted so much of my time.

Kitchen and Family HubWonder if they just gave that excuse because they couldnāt get out of video doom loop. You can reuse your old range cord or buy a new ārange cordā at HD or Loweās. They come in either 3-4 prong 240v depending on what your outlet is. Home Depot parts 98249 4 prong, 98248 3 prong.
