Ring cameras says need Software update but there is none!!??

Today my family Hub shows this error message that I need to update the Ring software app to view the cameras (which have worked fine for the past year or two). Except there is no app update when I click that little button and there's no OS software update either!??!!

Ring is directing customers with this problem to Samsung because the app is written by Samsung. 

"Hi neighbors. The Ring app on the Samsung Refrigerator is created by and maintained by the Samsung team. This is why it is visible on your IOS or Android devices, but not your Samsung Refrigerator. …"

The feature works on all other platforms - just not the fridge.

Is anyone at Samsung working on a fix?

Any update or ways to fix this yet?  I also bought this Samsung Family Hub fridge for this SmartThing video widget that shows Ring preview.  After the update, it won't work.  Factory reset but still the same.
