Does anyone know how to remove the assembly case in their french door refrigerators. I included the part number. The ice maker and auger motor have been removed. I am just trying to figure out how to remove the assembly case housing.

Hi,  I am currently having the same issue.  I made a stupid move and tried to defrost my ice maker with a hair dryer.  Not the brightest idea.  I melted my ice maker, but worst of all, I bubbled the bottom of the cabinet or assy case that is silicone to the refrigerator.  The case that the ice tray slides into.  I do not know if it can be replaced. I am having trouble finding a part # for it or even if it can be replaced.  I also have the French door refrigerator. If you could please share any information you might have gotten regarding this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
