New fridge. This is not isolated but rather I see this is common. What is Samsung doing to fix? Recall? Refund? Replacement. I shouldn't have to defrost it with my blowdryer!
I just called Samsung and there aware of this issue and are repairing it free of charge regardless of warranty coverage. My flex zone is just 2 years old now and I had my first issue with it freezing up. I'm having them come in Jan 4th to fix this issue. They said defrosting it is only a temporary fix that the service call is needed to resolve the problem so I'm having them come in. I did the same with the blowdryer but its only a temporary fix so I would suggest you call them to service it. Whether it will get fixed remains to be seen but I will let you know. I called the number on the inside of my fridge 1-800-Samsung(726-7864).
