I have the same problem, NX58H5600SS with the gas oven not working. Hopefully all these requests for PM's mean Samsung is helping everyone with a no cost solution to this obvious defect.
Just so everyone knows, all the Samsung rep is going to do is recommend to have the oven serviced when you PM them. Looks like the igniter is the culprit in my case, check out this video if you want to try to replace yours like I did. Do yourself a favor though and don't buy another Samsung igniter though, unless you want to replace it again in 18 months.
Thanks. This did the trick for me. Oven was 26 months old. Part cost me $40. Would of cost a few hundred to get repair person out. I expect better out of a $2k oven Samsung! At least supply the part if you aren't going to extend the warranty. 19 pages of comments means you have a widespread quality issue.
Wow. I sat down in front of the computer to see if there is anything posted about the Samsung ovens that will not fire the oven burner and will simply display 150 with the blinking light (my current issue with my NX58H5600SS). Did not expect to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of similar complaints/reports. More surprising, however, is that with the big number of complaints on the faulty Samsung oven products (seems like igniter is the problem) that there is no clear response from Samsung to acknowledge the issue and do right by their customers. Not a recipe to continue to keep customers, Samsung! Not sure that I will purchase another one. Consumer beware! Probably too late for the warning if you are reading this series of blogs. An oven should be much more reliable than for (less than ) 4 years of service.
My Samsung has oven NX58H9500WS is not heating as well. I had the same issue when the oven was 1 week old. Had to be replaced completely. Now the oven is 3 years old and out of warranty. I would never buy another Samsung product for the rest of my life.
Given that there are 19 pages of discussion surrounding this issues, I thought I'd pick up this thread. SHAME SHAME SHAME Samsung!!!!! We started to have some minor issues with the oven a few weeks ago and thought it was the breaker. Now it just won't hear and it's Valentine's Day. Thanks for ruining it for me, Samsung. No chocolate soufflés tonight. How exactly do you plan on fixing this? Beyond disappointed and disgusted.
We are having the same problem as other people on the board! Model #NX58H5600SS purchased on Nov 5, 2017. So that means we had the oven for 2 years, 3 months, 10 days before it stopped working. SO FRUSTRATED! Stovetop works fine but the oven won't heat!!
Hey, give this link a shot: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01204529/#oven-does-not-heat
I jumped on this discussion board after getting absolutely no where with Samsung phone customer service only to find TWENTY PAGES Of people with the same issue! If that's not blaring evidence of faulty parts/manufacturer defect I don't know what is. I've had my oven less than three years- used it last night to bake a galette and went to heat up breakfast this morning but nothing happened. No heat and no info on how to fix it when I called Samsung. I can't even describe how disappointed I am. Prior to getting this range we had a THIRTY YEAR OLD range that was still functioning with the only issue being temperature control and now this one does after less than three years?? Wishing I had kept the 30 year old range... which is really saying something. Samsung - y'all have GOT to do something about this clearly widespread issue - it's not a one off problem. I'm now here (during a pandemic with a "shelter in place" mandate) without a functioning oven and zero resolution. @SamsungLarry
After reading 20 pages of what sound exactly what we are experiencing, I thought I would chime in just to express my concerns. I have an FX710BGS that we have suspected for a few months, did not fully reach the desired temperature. The oven took a long time to heat up and food took longer than normal to cook, thank goodness I use a thermometer when cooking meat.
However, today, the gas oven will not heat all. I see the glow of, what I am assuming is, the ignitor, but no heat is building. After about 15 minutes there is a smell of gas in the house and an error code E08 comes up on the screen. This is a little dissappointing as I do like Samsung products and own several from our refridgerator, to washing machines, oven, and even phones.
If this a true widespread issue, I would hope that Samsung would make it right.
