Refrigerator RF266AEWP dinging after changing water filter

After replacing the water filter, I cannot get the filter light to turn off AND the refrigerator keeps "dinging".

If the troubleshooting provided does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

Hello there! I definitely understand the need to be able to reset your filter indicator light. But I have just what you need. I have done this numerous times but the filter light stays red instead of turning green.

Now what???
