I bought this model in June 2016. In March 2018, after the warranty expired, the refrigerator began to leak water which pooled and froze under the cool select pantry drawer. In contacting Lowe’s and then Samsung, service was done on the refrigerator to replace the “water leakage repair kit”. The service man indicated this was a very common issue but we still had to pay for the repair! Well, the leaking is back and STILL Samsung refuses to admit there is an underlying issue with the refrigerator. I find it hard to believe that when you spend $1600 on a refrigerator that you should encounter two major issues within 5 years! Anybody have a good solution to the problem?

I recommend letting another service technician have a look. Send your full model code and serial number via private message to get started.
