Update March 5 : I wanted to share an update. After contacting Samsung Customer Service, they quickly arranged a technician visit and replaced the oven door. The issue has been resolved and I’m very satisfied with how Samsung handled the situation and the service provided.

I recently purchased a brand new range:

While I was asleep, I suddenly heard a loud popping/explosion sound coming from my kitchen. When I checked, I discovered that the interior oven glass had completely shattered on its own. The oven was not in use, no one touched it, and nothing hit it.
This is extremely concerning and honestly frightening. An appliance should not fail like this, especially when it is brand new and untouched. I’m worried about safety and also about being held responsible for something that appears to be a defect.
I have photos and documentation and am currently waiting for a technician, but I want this on record publicly in case others have experienced similar issues.
Has anyone else had spontaneous oven glass failure on this model or similar models? Samsung — I would appreciate an official explanation of how this could happen.
