Hi. I purchased this fridge recently. It has been in operation for about a week. I had turned off the ice maker initially because it was not connected to the water supply. The water was finally connected today so I turned on the ice maker. I didn't know where to retrieve the ice once it was done so I looked online and find the instructions for resetting the ice maker which state that to remove the ice bucket, you have to gently lift it up. I assume that to retrieve the ice cubes, one has to remove the ice bucket as well, however I cannot manage to remove it. I have tried to lift it up, but the bucket doesn't move at all. I'm at a lost to know how to retrieve the ice once it's done. I understand that it my take 24 hours for the first batch of ice, and I turned on the ice maker only a couple of hours ago, but I would really like to know how to retrieve the ice. Can anyone advise me? Thanks in advance.

@Mongyee I took a look at the manual.

The ice cubes will fall into the bucket in the bottom drawer.

Oh, I see. I guess the ice cubes will fall once they're ready, likely in 24 hours from the time I turned on the ice maker. Thanks

Ps: I'd downloaded the manual but didn't notice the bit you mentioned. I just referred back to it and of course it was there. My bad to have missed it. Thanks again.

We have a refrigerator with a ice maker in the bottom like that. You will probably hear the ice falling into that bucket. We do.
