We absolutely love our Flex Zone fridge. I've never had a fridge keep food so fresh for so long, and we eat a *lot* of veg so having a full quarter of the fridge for just vegetables is amazing for us.

We do not, however, use the beverage center. The water in our city is great, and we dont like to drink it very cold. We don't use ice hardly at all, so we've never hooked up a water line to the fridge. We have to cram my sons lactose free milk in with juice and cream in the door, and we keep ketchup where the pitcher goes, but otherwise the beverage center is a huge waste of space.

There isn't a model that doesn't have the beverage center at all, but is there any way to remove it and cap off the line so we can at least keep something else in that space?

The beverage center is integrated with water lines and electrical wiring harnesses and cannot be readily removed.

Thanks for your reply! If the water lines are not being used at all, would it disable the whole electrical system to remove it?

It could affect the operation of the whole refrigerator because all of the electrical harnesses attach to the main control board. It could send false signals to the board causing errors in the cooling sequence.
