KitchenBEFORE I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Noticed my fridge had stopped cooling this weekend, no hum or any compressor action, just melted ice. After loading up the deep freeze, I shut down the fridge via the breaker. Cleaned it out thoroughly, left for 24 hours, unpowered. Figured if the evaporator coils froze over, they would now be thawed. No dice, powered back on, no movement in the compressor. Tried looking for a reset button, couldn't find it on the compressor. Fridge is about 6 years old, anybody with any ideas? The Kenmore it replaced ran for 26 years, with no issues.

KitchenIf the compressor went, you need to call repair. I don't know about your refrigerator, but mine has a tag on it that says the sealed refrigeration parts (compressor, condenser) are warrantied for 10 years, so the compressor may still be under warranty. You will still have to pay for labor. Check with Samsung. If it's not still under warranty, you can call any local repair service you want, since you'll be paying anyway.
