Samsung dishwasher model# DW80CG4021SR Auto Release Concern

I just bought a new dishwasher and it says that it has the auto release feature I go into the settings to turn it on like it says I power it on I hold down the auto button until the refill and clean buttons flash and then it says to hold sanitize but when I hold down sanitize nothing happens? Has anyone had this issue is there other buttons I need to press because it's not working?

@Meganc Ours had this feature turned on out of the box. Per the manual it looks like you just click the Sanitize button, don't hold it down.

Ok I'll try that too. So it does work for you when does the door open after the cycle is done?

@Meganc The door actually opens probably 7-8 minutes before the end of the cycle.

It just finished a load and it never opened. I just tried to press the sanitize button after holding down auto and it just goes to normal. Idk what to do?

Knowing you have the same one and that it does open makes me feel a little bit better but I just don't know what's wrong.

Be prepared for that machine to shake violently and also to overflow with water and cause damage to your property to your house. They will not be very responsive to you when you file a claim for damages and there is no phone number for you to call for them to assist you they will only deal with you via email. I am going through this right now
