Samsung Support dispatched repair vendor Service Quick in Portland, Oregon for my refrigerator/icemaker/water dispenser issue. The tech was unprofessional, strongly suggested that a repair was not advisable, made NO attempt to diagnose the issue and suggested that I buy a counter top icemaker or buy a new refrigerator.

Naturally my first inclination was to raise the issue with the vendor, Service Quick. But there is NO phone number or e-mail address to get in touch with them. Their webpage only allows you to input your Ticket Number and name then it displays the status of your ticket. The "Contact Us" box is not functioning properly - when you click "Submit" an error message pops up. There were no phone numbers found when I did an exhaustive search. I contacted their parent company, KW International, a multinational logistics company. I sent a message to their HR department in LA and asked them to forward my info to the appropriate department.

Lastly, I physically visited the office/warehouse of Service Quick, the facility where technicians are dispatched from. There I found one service technician. There was no supervisor on-site, the position is vacant. The service tech was covering the office due to the management vacancy. I spent about an hour speaking with the tech, who was awesome. Basically, as much as this operation is automated as is possible, with minimal to no human interaction. The company is almost opaque. For a "customer service" company that goes into peoples' homes, this is crazy! That is why all the issues that customers have fall to Samsung. Even the automated texts that I receive say, "If you have a questions, call Samsung."
