I have a 'U' shape shadow on the top of my tv. Can really only be seen on bright colors. Any ideas what it could be or what is causing it?

Hello @Mikenice121608! Thank you for reaching out! If this is occurring on all sources, it will require service. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Looks like the start of screen burn to me.. Do you leave your TV on a static screen often for long periods without it changing?

If not, sometimes the LEDs just start going out depending on how old the TV is

If it's not old, and you don't leave the TV static, I would contact support for possible warranty, although I don't know how you go about proving it's not wear and tear... Maybe not that helpful, but I tried! Lol

The tv is less than a month old. Doesn't get used very much.

That's very interesting, maybe reach out to Samsung support, or the retailer you bought it from (if you bought a warranty) but seeing as it's barely used it definitely weird
