External IR Receiver for Samsung OM46B (3.5mm IR IN)

Hi,

I have a Samsung OM46B (Model Code: LH46OMBEBGBXEN). The display does not have any physical buttons, but it does have a 3.5 mm “IR IN” port.

Since I currently can’t control the display or switch inputs (for example to HDMI), I’m planning to buy an external IR receiver/sensor.

My question is:

Which external IR receiver (3.5 mm) is compatible with the OM46B?

Will a universal 3.5 mm IR receiver work, or does it need to be a specific Samsung signage IR sensor?

I want to make sure I purchase the correct type (receiver/sensor — not IR emitter or HDMI IR extender).
