Sunday in
LED and OLED TVsI recently got an error message that my Samsung TV suddenly stopped getting updates downloaded because the updates are evidently too big for my current memory. When I called the support line they indicated I needed to plug in a USB flash drive. I formatted a USB drive but I didn't ask the agent what steps I needed to take to install the flash drive because the call was disconnected. Do I just plug it in? Any size limits? Will the TV just automatically recognize the USB drive? The model is UN65NU710D, the TV is working just fine apart from this recent error msg and had been updated just fine until this past week. The agent said the Samsung updates have gotten much larger so I need to add more memory to hold the updates. Does this make sense? I wonder how the TV accesses the Flash Drive to fetch the update once it's downloaded?

Monday in
LED and OLED TVsInstalling a USB drive won't help, first see how much free memory your TV has.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Support > Device Care.
3. Select Storage Management
For more details, visit this guide.
If memory is low, free it up, in 2018 TVs (this is your model) the main memory grabber is the browser, open it, go to settings and delete memory cache, cached pages, photos and cookies, of course if you use it.
But if you get error 800, it means your TV is outdated and no longer supported by Samsung, for your TV the software support is 5 years old. The latest current software version for your TV is 1350.7.
