I purchased a Samsung Crystal UHD 55" DU7200B TV.

I do not stream, and don't care about all the apps such as Netflix, or free TV from Samsung, so I didn't set up Smart Hub. The TV is connected to Xfinity via HDMI. I did connect the TV to my Xfinity network.

Whenever I start the TV I get the screen that wants me to "Start your Smart Hub" setup. I don't want the Smart Hub. I just want the TV to turn on to whatever I was last watching. Can this be done? Or is Samsung going to keep nagging me?

Thanks much.

Hi, usermgPFAfcMUF. Thanks for reaching out! As Noobie has stated above, unfortunately, you will have to complete the "Smart Hub" set up process before you'll be able to deactivate its features. Hope this helps!

Sadly you have to set up your Smart Hub in order for that message to not pop up. You can set it up and not use it if that's what you want. Otherwise, you can't remove the pop up

Turn OFF the Smart with Smart Hub Home option in Menu > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option, then turn the TV off and on again. Doing so will allow you to start with your last used input source.20250402_205619_1000068126_1743652584.jpg

Thanks for the reply. When I press Menu, I get "You can use smart features after completing the setup", with the only available selection is a "Start Setup" button.

If I press that button, I then get "Smart Hub Terms & Conditions Privacy Notice". When I first 'set up' the TV, I 'skipped' all of this.

I guess I have to actually set up Smart Hub to then be able to turn it off. Yes?
